Vice Ganda

Vice Ganda is one of the most famous stand-up comediennes in the country today. He became famous when he became one of the judges in the game show “Showtime” and when he invented the famous line “may nag text”. I remembered the first time I watched one of his shows in Punch line 2 years ago and it was a very entertaining show. Together with his co-stand comedienne, they really made my 3 days stay in Manila memorable.

Vice Ganda always comes out with hilarious jokes and funny lines which make an audience laugh so hard. What I like about him is when he bullies someone in a funny way. No one can beat him when it comes to making fun to his co-stand up comedienne. I can’t help it but wonder sometimes, if they fight for real in the back stage after every hair pulling and humiliation they have caused to each other for the sake of entertaining an audience. Well, I guess each of them knows the job they are getting in to, after all they are working in a comedy bar.

Well, I guess it depends on one’s point of view and fantasy. Some would prefer to keep the excitement and thrill while looking at a picture of a man’s bulging underwear or watching a macho dancer who covers his private area with a fisherman’s net. These kinds of pictures or movies create fantasies and imaginations, and eventually make you hot and horny.

While on the other hand, a picture of a man who bares it all is very sexy and hot for some folks. They don’t need to imagine but fantasies instead to the thing that carelessly hanging down there or watch a fully erected penis dripping with the juice that came out of its tiny hole. Some would fine it very hot and the next thing they know is that, they are texting or inviting someone to come over to their place to have sex or doing it with their partners. Unfortunately to those who don’t have accessed to instantaneous sex, they end up doing it alone.

Well, I like both if you ask me (LOL). If I am tired of imagining a picture or a movie that only shows butt and pubes better yet look at a picture or watch a movie that has all the instruments to complete my wildest fantasies and indulges myself until I reach the peak of my pleasure. Before the gentle and elegant BB Gandanghari was born. A hunky and gorgeous Rustom Padilla was there to give us a thrill in one of his action movies. He was once one of the best action stars in the country. He had made many action movies and was admired by its beautiful face and good acting in front of the cameras. But now Rustom is dead and was reborn to a new being, he is now called BB Gandanghari. Well, I must say BB is equally attractive whether he is a man or a woman. People around Chou warned him to avoid this guy because he has broken so many hearts of young boys. He was also called the ultimate one night-stander for he never falls in love. Bai became aware of Chou when Chou accidentally divulged he is still a virgin in front of many people and Bai somewhat had a liking to Chou.

The Love of Siam

LOVE OF SIAM is a story about two childhood friends who eventually fall in love to each other after long years of separation. The story revolves around the two characters who were Tong (Mario Maurer) and Mew (Chukiat Sakweerakul). When they were still kids Mew and Tong were neighbors. They became friends when Tong defended Mew from being bullied by some kids at school. They instantly become best buddies and were always together. But a tragic event came to Tong’s family, his sister tang got separated from her classmates when they had a trip in Changmai. Now Tong’s family had to move to Changmai to look for his sister.

Many years had past and their both in high school now. Mew became the lead singer of band called The August Band. One day Tong went to a store to buy the new CD of his favorite band. The owner told him that the copies were sold out and informed him that the members of the August band just left from his shop. Tong was eager to meet the members of this August band since he likes listening to their music. When Tong approach them, Mew saw him and he easily recognized Tong. Mew introduced Tong to his band mates and promised Tong to make a copy of their album for free. They exchanged numbers and from that moment started a very romantic story of their friendship and a love song that changed their lives.

Showboyz

Starring: Krystoffer King, Toffee Calma, Archie De Calma and Topher Barretto

Idealistic and talented young provincial boy Tope goes to Manila to search for a long lost childhood friend ostracized by his community for being queer. He starts at the park where he suspects his friend Joaquin frequently visits. He finds out that the park, indeed, is frequented by gays who are looking for paid boys for sex. When a few rowdy vagrants beat him, he is rescued by a transvestite named Jeminai. They instantly become friends as Jeminai hires Tope to be his gay bar caretaker.

How will innocent and impressionable Tope live in the sleazy bar where the boys are expected to lie and bare their bodies for a fee? When Tope meets the bar’s star dancer, Krys, who can no longer have an erection, and help him win in a macho dancing contest. Tope sees a different future for the bar. Before everybody knows it, Tope has been changing everyone, turning them from sleazy to artsy, and giving them hope that perhaps their club can still find salvation. But what if the big project leads to a love triangle between Jeminai, Krys and Tope? Can they still work together to make their dreams come true? This is the predicament of the breadwinners like Chris, the young lead in the film “Quickie” who also happens to be gay.

Krys is a middle class high school student and his best friend Joef who has been abandoned by his only living parent is turning eighteen and plans to leave the next day to trace his father’s roots. As Krys attempts to make Joef change his mind, we get a glimpse of the lives of his friends, some out of school youth in the nearby slums who pass the day stealing copper wires, scavenging for iron scraps and servicing gays for sex. As Krys attempts to control his friend’s life’s peripheral characters, we see middle class person trying to be the poor people’s hero. But our young protagonist finds out that life, at least, for people living in poverty, is not all that bad. Will Krys be able to stop Joef from leaving?
